My spouse and I are both moving out of the family home since deciding to get divorced. Of course neither one of us want the memories of this time in the form of all our old stuff, and we are both moving into much smaller places. We've accumulated a lot of stuff over the last few years, so we are doing a lot of recycling, donating and getting rid of rubbish. Making Your House Clean for a First Time Home Date

If you are a young adult living on your own, then you understand what it means to be lazy. Especially if you wake up early in the morning to go to work and come back home late too tired to lift a finger. But what happens when you have a date coming over on the weekend? De-clutter your house

Since you will be doing a major cleaning session, you might as well get rid of all the clutter in the house. You will need to start the clean-up at least a week before the due date so as to get everything in order. This means the empty beer bottles, the overflowing ash trays, the kitty litter, the stacked up paper cups and everything else you do not need. Put them all in a trash bag which will be later picked by the rubbish removal service that you will request for.

Clean the house

Due to a busy schedule you may not have had had time to do a thorough cleaning of your house. This means that there is dust and dirt in all the corners and under all the furniture. Take the vacuum cleaner and for the next one hour or so, clean every upholstery you can find. Once this is done, get a bucket of soap and water and scrub the surfaces. Do not forget to wash the dishes as well. If you find this to be too demanding, you can always hire a cleaning service to make your house spotless. Tidy the outside as well

If you live in a house that has a front yard or compound then you must make an effort to make it look good. This is the best time to call your gardener for weeding, pruning and grass cutting. Make sure to tell him or her to gather the cuttings and place them in the green bin if you have one.
